Virtually impossible to build up points nowadays
Spurs end of season will be sold out to 35+ points at this rate.....mental

the problem is people don't feel like they're going to a football match unless they go away nowadays.
the corporate frogmarch to the departure lounge with a pitch in the middle doesn't cut it.

AOI - but lots of others argue that even 10% is an insult and 'them' trying to prevent loyal fans going to away games.
I don't think there is a right answer, because every solution puts someone's nose out of joint.
I also don't think there can be THAT many selling on their tickets all the time - can that many be bothered to go to that effort? Of course, we'll never know.

The trouble with this it prevents a lot of you ger fans going. It’s embarrassing when you so many over 50’s in the away end.
The only solution is to have a good % put to a ballot.

But who is going to check that? Turnstile operators (if there are any) at away grounds?

The club are aware of this as a number of people 20+ were caught entering away grounds whilst on banning orders. The club could introduce the system that Man Utd apparently have that people holding tickets must have legitimate ID with the name that is on the ticket.

Fact is that a lot of tickets go to points collectors who don't always go, or even intend to go, but then sell the tickets on.

The cheaper, £30 away tickets and our bigger capacity at the new stadium have contributed to this problem.
Last season I missed out on 7 away games, ones that I had no problem going to in the past, because of this situation. But where was the demand when we were in the Championship, for instance? I managed to get to all bar 2 away games that season, and I only missed those because the Mrs had booked a couple of trips that had clashed with them.

I dont think the cup games at home makes much difference really.
Surely anyone with 20 away points goes to the home cup games anyway?

Got stupid when silly home cup games were added to points.
Should be for away games only.
